Vision and Values

Mission Statement

Lyneham Primary School will prepare children to face challenges with the skills, knowledge and integrity needed, by unlocking academic, social and emotional potential through high quality teaching and learning opportunities.

We are all very fortunate to live in and belong to a constitutional democracy where our freedoms are respected, where we make the decision about who governs us and where the rule of law is just and keeps us safe.  Our rights and equally, our responsibilities, have been handed down from generation to generation for many years and right now it is our responsibility to ensure that they are protected and passed on.   We believe that one day, it will be our children's generation to hold that responsibility and then, long after that, it will be their children's turn.  At Lyneham we understand that the rights we enjoy must be protected through taking shared responsibility for the world and for everyone that lives on it today and will live on it in the future.  We will achieve this through education.

Our aim is to ensure that children who leave Lyneham Primary School after Key Stage 2 are prepared to face the challenges that they will encounter through the embedded values of Respect, Kindness, Cooperation, Aspiration, Perseverance and Responsibility.  Our work here is always viewed through a lens of that vision and decisions are always made in the best interest of upholding it.
