Belong - Believe - Achieve

Our Vision and Values

At Lyneham Primary School, we believe every child has the right to thrive—academically, socially, and emotionally. Our vision is to nurture confident, curious, and compassionate learners who are prepared to face the challenges of an ever-changing world with resilience, knowledge, and integrity.

We are proud to serve a richly diverse community, with over 20 languages spoken and up to 30% of our pupils learning English as an additional language. This diversity is a strength we celebrate, embedding global awareness and mutual respect at the heart of school life. Inclusion is not just a principle—it’s a practice. With three trained SENCOs, a dedicated resource base, an Inclusion Leader on our senior team, and a strong network of support staff, we ensure that all children—including those with SEND—feel seen, supported, and successful.

Our curriculum is ambitious, broad, and knowledge-rich. Through high-quality teaching and learning, we unlock each child’s potential, building strong foundations for lifelong learning. We embrace the arts as a powerful medium for expression, identity, and creativity. Our specialist drama and art teaching, along with forest school experiences, enrich our curriculum and give every child the chance to shine beyond the classroom.

Above all, we want our children to leave Lyneham with a deep sense of belonging, self-worth, and purpose—ready to contribute positively to their communities and to the wider world.
