As of 16th August 2021 restrictions for social distancing, mask wearing and public gatherings stopped. We intend to follow government advice, so we will also be removing the restrictions that were in place at the end of last term. This means that the compulsory one-way system in the KS1 playground will cease. There is no longer any requirement to wear a mask, however if you feel more comfortable doing so, please feel free to do so. Please be aware that if cases rise significantly within the school, we may well have to implement stricter local measures to control the spread of infections. If this happens we will follow our Outbreak Management Plan and inform you of what that means in relation to coming to and from school.
The new guidance states that social distancing is no longer required, but we want to take a measured approach to this and would ask that you remain sensitive to the concerns of others. Some people are very apprehensive about the changes in guidance and we need to strike a careful balance between meeting people’s needs, following government advice and ensuring our children get as normal a year at school as possible.
The school arrival and finish times effective Friday 3rd September 2021 are as follows:
All other year groups 8.40am
School Day Finishes
Lower School (Years 1, 2 & 3) 3.10pm
Upper School (Years 4, 5 & 6) 3.15pm
